Secure
Records Storage
We store voting records, vital records, deed books, ledgers,
traffic tickets, plat maps, administration and personnel
records and more for governmental agencies. They are barcoded,
entered into our robust records management system, and
tracked.
Underground storage facilities in Kansas, Missouri and
Kentucky offer depth protection from natural disaster and
theft, as well as naturally cool and dry climates well
suited for long term archiving. The salt mine facility
in Hutchinson, Kansas is
widely regarded as one of the largest and most secure facilities
in the world. Buried 650 ft deep within a 400 ft thick
salt formation, miles from any flood plains or seismic
activity, it is protected from natural disaster. Major
metropolitan areas, military installations, and national
borders are miles away.
Above ground storage facilities are ideally suited to
serve government entities in Kansas and Oklahoma. They
offer a combination of boxed record storage and climate-controlled
media vaults for data
tapes and micrographics and optical disks.
Your records are always within
reach. Documents can be scanned and digitally transmitted,
faxed, shipped, or delivered via our wholly-owned transportation
fleet. UV&S employees are bonded and background-checked. |

Microfilm
and Microfiche Storage
Ideal storage conditions for government
microfilm
records are rare and expensive. Government archives across
the nation see the effects of humidity and temperature
fluctuation as they watch their documents succumb to redox,
vinegar syndrome or mold.
Our climate-controlled microfilm
vaults
are specially designed for acetate, polyester, silver and
diazo-based microfilms. We also have two specialized preservation
vaults: One limited to brown toned microfilm, the other
limited to silver microfilm.
We can scan and digitally transmit images to you, or print
and deliver them to you, without removing originals from
storage. Rolls of microfilm can be duplicated to silver
or diazo, thereby allowing us to keep the original roll
in storage and send a working copy to you. We also coordinate
specialized services for preservation, restoration and
duplication. |
 |
Private
Vaults
Private room and vault storage is available
for truly sensitive government
documents. 15,000
sq ft records rooms are common underground, as are 10 ft
x 10 ft maximum protection vaults, and custom options are available. |
 |
Data Storage
Underground Vaults & Storage offers
media vaults ideally suited for tape
rotations or library archiving. |
