Underground storage facilities in Kansas, Missouri and Kentucky offer depth protection from natural disaster and theft, as well as naturally cool and dry climates well suited for long term archiving. The salt mine facility in Hutchinson, Kansas is widely regarded as one of the largest and most secure facilities in the world. Buried 650 ft deep within a 400 ft thick salt formation, miles from any flood plains or seismic activity, it is protected from natural disaster. Major metropolitan areas, military installations, and national borders are miles away.
Above ground storage facilities are ideally suited to serve court entities in Kansas and Oklahoma. They offer a combination of boxed record storage and climate-controlled media vaults for data tapes and optical disks.
Items are barcoded, entered into our robust records management system, and tracked. All employees undergo background checks and are bonded.
Our climate-controlled microfilm vaults are specially designed for acetate, polyester, silver and diazo-based microfilms. We also have two specialized preservation vaults: One limited to brown toned microfilm, the other limited to silver microfilm.
We can scan and digitally transmit images to you, or print and deliver them to you, without removing originals from storage. Rolls of microfilm can be duplicated to silver or diazo, thereby allowing us to keep the original roll in storage and send a working copy to you. We also coordinate specialized services for preservation, restoration and duplication.
Private room and vault storage is available for court record storage. 15,000 sq ft records rooms are common underground, as are 10 ft x 10 ft maximum protection vaults, and custom options are available.
Underground Vaults & Storage offers media vaults ideally suited for tape rotations or library archiving.
We can serve as your off-site court records department; efficiently processing, retrieving, refiling and cataloging your records. Our expert consulting services can help you create a compliant records management program.
Certified destruction services help you comply with disposal regulations and mandatory shredding laws. Your items are checked and double-checked before destruction, and you will receive a Certificate of Destruction once complete.
